I haven`t publish an article for a while and it is hard to communicate through all feed since there are bunch of trolls and it is quite crowded. I will be talking about new update and its affect on game/alliances.

But let me begin with my farewell article. I decided to quit the game because first, I was not glad the way game is headed to and second, I had a huge fight with couple of my friends (players) who I know in real life as well. The first one is not a big deal but as I said in my last article I play this game for friends and it was devastating for me to witness such things. But what I ignored in that situation was many other friends who relied on me and I have honor to meet with, so I gave up after short time. Sorry about that.



To continue with 2 RW rule, I already wrote a suggestion about it on forums. I don`t know If management team will take it serious but we will see. It is another update to bring us down. As you recall, they first implemented limitation on MPPs, then they changed the map completely, brought alliance update and redistributed bonuses by hoping that we will fight inside for it. 2RW is the final step of those updates. I agree that something had to be done by Admins to stop us, since we are the most powerful and organized alliance (was) of the game. We keep almost all -if not all- the rare resources since July and we destroyed several alliances on the way. However, this is not right thing to do. In order to bring balance, they completely ruined military module of game. To wipe a country, you have to fight HARD against Q5 DS, burn a lot of stocks (both gold and LKs) and spend so much time organizing it. But what is the point? The country you wiped see no harm. They don`t even lose MPPs any longer. And now with 2 RW rule it is impossible to actually harm a country. It is even impossible to wipe a country with lots of core regions, like France. Of course, wiping a country or keeping it wiped is not good for their game-playing. But what is motivation of players here? How do they make babyboom, how do they invite players here? They advertise this game by saying we will destroy our enemies, with your help. So, let`s not kid eachothers. We all play this game for quite similar reasons.

But now, there is no point of fighting. You managed to kill military module, bravo. Besides its fundemental nonsense, there are also technical problems about this update. It gives huge power for defender country, starting double resistance wars without cooldown is just huge. But it is still only 15 gold. Really? And we still have no chance to see who started RW. It allows players to use multi accounts for starting them without any cost. As far as I know, moderators also cannot see who started RW so multi accounts will just get away with it. Not thinking about these techical details of update actually shows the intention of Admins. Most probably, their close friends who play in our opponent countries (we all know who) came up with this idea and their approach was Hell Yeah!, without thinking a bit about details.

 

Let me continue with effects of update towards alliances. Opponents of Vae Victis took major benefit from update, no surprise. But the funny part is they still could not manage to win a single rare bonus or achieve 100% in single industry. If they cannot success even after this update, the last thing Admins can do would be implementing regions with rare resources to their core regions and make them un-attackable.

And how did Vae Victis react to this update? What is the new strategy? How it evolved its organization? Well you guessed right, the answer for all these is there is no change. I named all those updates that are implemented to bring us down. We survived after each one of them because we used to adapt. But this time there is no effort to adapt. It brings us to title of article, which is also Turkish saying: Long live the snake that doesnt bite me! This is exactly how we move this month (Napril, as Albrevolution refers). We no longer care about main principles of alliances, as terms of those agreements illustrate. I am already out of all strategic decisions of alliance for last 2 months but the way I see, I no longer feel proud of being citizen of this alliance. We ruled this long, because we used to stick together and stick to the rules. There is simply no such atmosphere any longer. I just hope that members will realize where is this going to and start reacting to it. Otherwise, we are all on the same board and face the same outcome.

As for Lithuania and Ukraine who recently left our alliance, there is a long story to be told but I will keep it short. Lithuania refused two times to attack opponents in my leadership and they wanted to attack a country which already under attack on 3 sides. Everyone know that I never put countries into the war that cannot be won yet they were too coward. Even after that, their average damage for allies was around 100 million and in the end of Canada - Venezuela battle -If I recall right- they made 64 million damage only. We of course pissed off and accused them for not moving together with us. Their main reasoning for leaving alliance is this reaction. Considering how hard they fought in Latvia campaign, they had pretty good stocks but just did not want to use them back then, when we need. Which concludes that we were right about them so it is gain for us that such country left. I am quite glad. It is also funny that they joined the same alliance with Germany, while it was Germany who sold them out for Russia and we protected them for months. About Ukraine. When they applied to be member of Vae Victis, they were already asking for it for weeks after both Délos and FU left them outside. They changed alliance in this game like we change clothes so I was always suspecious about their intention. However, their President back then gave enough urance that people of Ukraine wants to play with us. We made it clear to them that their core regions will not be returned since Bulgaria and Romania need them and it was all okay for them. After that group who joined Vae Victis left the goverment, they started fighting in RWs against us and drain hard. We got always the same answer -there is nothing to do.- It was our mistake to trust them while they are left out by everyone else but we understood it after a while and excluded them from alliance. Good luck those who will ever trust them again.


Finally, let me say few words about Portugal. As you remember they left MDP and kinda caused chained reaction in alliance. The main reason they left MDP was lack of support during their Spain campaign. But there were two countries who stood with them back then, France and Turkey. That`s why we kept good relations even after. They refused to join Délos, they refused to join Vae Victis. They made many decisions in months but they were always honest and open. However, in last couple of months, after born of OFC -the mercenary unit-, they first claimed to be neutral. Then we witnessed that OFC fights for our enemies -Denmark for instance- for free as well. That is when I interfered and asked government of Portugal to not support such actions for the sake of our friendship. Later, President of Portugal himself started to fund OFC and Panzer units to hit Vae Victis, while he still claims to be neutral. That is kind of behaviour I just cannot accept. I don`t want to accuse whole community because of bunch of *** people but -although this word lost its meaning in this game- traitors will always be remembered.
