Well i wrote article about the ideas and it seems like many people not really understand the 100% win idea HERE THE LINK: https://www.erevollution.com/en/article/15421. I'll try to explain it here:
The idea is simple. Country make 100% superiority and it win a battle instead of wait 24 hours to last 10 minutes.
Like tommigunz wrote in my previous article:
"this is the best idea about war module for this game i have ever heard. What u are talking about will make the game more ALIVE i think admins have to think about it. cause now we are just waiting 24 hours for just last 10 minutes. But if there is a limit like 500mfor suddenly finish the war or what else that will game more realistic like suprise night operations..."
This player are really understand the idea. it not tells 500 mil win, it tells 100% win. In other words, admins can move the 100% bar even for 1 billion or 750 million, but WAIT.
I'll explain you why even 500 million can be a big number.
Lets take for example 2 random wars:
USA vs Spain :
ped like 5.5 hours.
ONLY Spain dmg is 535,112.
ONLY USA DMG is 116,495,820
How you can see USA even not did 500 million and it not 100% even with allies because allies of Spain help to hold the bar at 75.59% when Spain have superiority of 24.41%.
So USA can't win the battle even after 24 hours ped until allies of USA will come to help and push it to 100% or Allies of Spain will come to help and push it back to 100%.
Mexico vs Portugal:
Ped like 19 hours:
ONLY Mexico dmg is 120,961,941
ONLY Portugal dmg is 11,995,962
Mexico superiority is 27.93% and portugal is 72.07%.
Both wars not have 100% superiority on any side so they can't win battle until it'll be at 100%.
Countries will need to think if they want to win and use a STRATEGY, ORGANIZATION + FOLLOW ORDERS and ALLIES SUPPORT.
In other words countries will not open wars just because they want, they will need a good timing for it. Time Zone, allies of enemy countries in wars, organization of the enemy country. Any weaknest of the enemy will help you to Strike and win a battle.
Players that played at Hearts of Iron 4 saw maybe similar system when divisions fight each other for 100% superiority what is work great. I suggested similar idea but in eRevollution sizes.

Its a Bad idea considering 2 things:
1) when a battle starts 1 hit = 100%
2) the game likes to bug on a battle

The battles have limit of 500 million for now to make 100%. So if you not understand the system don t write.
Bad idea , they can attack us at night ( of our country ) and finish the war in 1 minute.
It s easy for countries like my country ( Iran ) to do 500 mil in 5 minutes.
for example : once in a battle with croatia we ( Iran ) did 1200 mil in 8 minutes , if we wanna do this changes battles would be 10 minutes.
@mahdi00iran, the idea is to make the game more realistic, night atatck, timing and allies. It much more interesting than wait 24 hours. also you can t make every battle millions of dmg, because soldiers will not have so much energy. You can win 1 battle but next time you ll get 3-5 battles from few countries that will find you weak now because you spend all your dmg on singel battle. Play HoI 4 and try move all your divisions in one place when you have other countries around, you ll see how you start to lose your regions if no one cover it.
You heard about training wars xD?
I like the idea, countries will have to cooperate and prepared each battle carefully (:
@Kami Neko: so you are saying that, if we are able to, we could conquer a country in less of 3 hours with people who are able to drop 500 per battle? sounds unbalanced. the idea would be to give smaller countries a chance to fight, not to make bigger ones more mighty.
Tldr
while i agree the current system of everyone fights in last 10 mins sucks, I don t think what you propose would be any better. I can only think of one alternative. A damage over time effect, and this could work in a few different ways. One, a player clicks fight. They receive XP, Rank points and true patriot or ally rewards as they do now. Difference being the damage dealt is not applied to the wall instantly like in the current system. perhaps 50% initially and the other 50% over the following hours or some such. Two, players receive a damage multiplier the earlier it is in the current battle(towards the wall only, xp/rank and true medals remain base values). For example, I can deal 5mil dmg. if i strike now while the battle is fresh that dmg will become 10mil, downside being my enemy will have a better idea of how much dmg is needed to win. striking in the last 10 mins would remain a surprise but you must give up combat effectiveness for that element of surprise. These idea s generated from a slightly intoxicated Canadian in under 10 mins, take from what what you will ^^
@Djaki, you can make PT to end the war or a law for TW is not a big deal. @Ricochet, the little countries already can t win. Gigants like Turkey, Croatia, France, Serbia will destroy em easily. With this idea the small countries can try to win by strategy and night attacks. @ItsColour, It ll not make it better. The idea is make cooperation between countries and make a possibility of short wars that can be also longer. The game need to delete the stupid thing of wait to last 10 minut s and give chance to the strategy and brain. I don t think all erev players are brainless so it can to work or i m wrong?
I like the idea would be more strategy and less time lost. (°.°)7
