Thank you to the people of the United States for electing me as the new President of the United States!

I'd like to start this term off on a more somber note. Last night we had around 46% of the votes cast for my opponent Talesweaver instead of for me, despite my backing by both parties and Talesweaver not actually running. This is pretty embarring for me, as you might imagine, and I take full responsibility for that. Two nights ago I had gotten overconfident and not m PMed the American electorate, and only after I started to communicate directly did the day turn around. Until yesterday morning, I had failed to keep you all in the loop- and that is my responsibility. This has taught us all however a valuable lesson for the next term that communication directly with the people can't be discounted and the media is not enough to spread a message.

Accordingly, I'd like to reach out to anyone with the time to defend our country to step up and be appointed a colonel of the United States, a role that will involve coordinating with players in a military unit, getting them on track, and sending m PM's to MUs (this is automatic, thank God you don't have to send one to each individual member) to send orders, notify them of supply drops, and remind them to train and boost their strength. M PMs are the core of this game. if you ever want to be rich, prominent, or powerful, you will need to send them. Any past President of the past several months will testify this is the case.

We're also looking for people to help our Director of Recruitment, maybee, bring floods of new players into this game. This is the most lucrative role in the United States, and you get to keep all the referral gold you get from recruiting new members, plus a bonus if your link brings in more than 20 - a well placed link definitely will. Referral bonuses are no joke: from 2 players over the course of 2-3 weeks, you will collect 70-100 gold. With the government's help and resources getting people mentored and set up, you GREATLY boost your income, and you do it for the good of the country.




Finally, the government desperately needs a graphic designer, someone skilled in photoshop, gimp, or illustrate. This is an absolutely vital role that will let us communicate with our country and abroad through ways other than archer memes, and maybe even draw our own polandball comics so Serbia doesn't have a total monopoly on humor. So if you don't like my memes, this is the job for you!

My cabinet an be found in my last article in this paper. For the next thirty days, we will take on three priorities:

1. Recruitment - we need people, people, people. Recruitment is the #1 most important thing to keeping our government afloat and ascending us to become a new superpower.
2. Unity - Old political feuds remain strong in some corners, and are a huge drag to our nation. Ending these feuds and putting our heads together so that every cabinet can do smooth work will be a huge priority.
3. Coordination - We need to bring more people into the loop to know what's going on in the US but also spread knowledge about game mechanics. Teaching soldiers how to get strong, players how to get rich - these things will be a huge backbone of our nation. 

In foreign affairs, we will remain committed to VV, who have sacrificed in some cases other nations friendly to the alliance in order to help us against Serbia. The world is about equal in damage of Delos + Serbia vs. VV, so the only route to expansion is into weaker Delos nations. If we pick a fight with a neutral country, we might very well be invaded from the rear by Delos. It's not just in our allies' interests, but our own that we stick with them in these times of troubles.



Wrapping this up, I'd like to congratulate spitfireYG on being probably one of the best presidents in the country's history. Spitfire recruited dozens of players to help the United States, convinced VV to mively intervene, and brilliantly coordinated a military campaign to turn back the Serbs until we were free. The man's tireless organization and clout in the international community were mive factors in our fre. The Serbian invasion is the first time the United States has been invaded and successfully repelled the invasion without surrendering a single region.





I'd further like to thank Tancred for his bringing of the Green Berets onto our side, and Rogal Dorn, commander of the Green Berets for fighting with us. Without the Berets, we surely would have lost before intervention even came about, and they and all the Green Berets deserve to be honored as heroes of the USA.

Thanks once again to the United States for your support and endorsement, and to all players who have made the great achievement of this month possible. The United States is entering an era of good feelings where we're abandoning the feuds of the past, but all this will go to waste unless we can ert ourselves as a respected member of the international community. We are an easy target, as it stands. We need to boost our strength and grow some spikes. For the first time, we've got a great team and a united country, all looking to make us a new superpower through all means at our disposal. Are we up to the challenge? Hell yeah we are, because if we want to be an independent nation in the era of naval battles, we have no other choice.
