2. Pesvebi

Giorgi Zakareishvili emigrated to France in the beginning of the 20th century and never managed to return to his homeland. He married a French girl and spent his whole life working as a driver. After his death his grandson takes his ashes to his native village in Georgia.

3. Udzinarta Mze

The Sun of the Sleepless. The film is about a doctor named Gela Bendeliani (Elgudzha Burduli) and his wealthless family in Tbilisi in Soviet Georgia. In the film Gela Bendeliani has an unlimited capacity for generosity and forgiveness.

4. Jariskatsis Mama

During World War II, Georgy Makharashvili, an old peasant wine-grower, leaves his Georgian village and goes off to the front lines to find his son, a wounded soldier. But before the father can get to the hospital, the son has been sent back to the front. The father cannot go back to his village, so he accompanies the Soviet Army all the way to the final victory over Fascism in Berlin.

5. Sherekilebi

In the pursuit of happiness orphan Ertaoz left for city, where he fell in love with pretty Margalita and went to jail to save her. There he met his future teacher Qristepore who dreamed of building flying machine and they broke the prison.

6. Natvris Khe

A young woman falls in love with a man who is married to someone else by the village elders. When they are caught meeting in secret, she is paraded through the village for public abuse and ridicule.

7. Monanieba 

A provincial woman (Zeynab Botsvadze) is put on trial for robbing the grave of an absurd Soviet dictator (Avtandil Makharadze).

8. Arachveulebrivi Gamopena

Back from the war, a promising sculptor Aguli gets married and while in the need to make for living becomes stuck in daily routine. Thus, he fails to create something special, but his apprentice is a new hope.

9. Didi Mtsvane Veli

A group of geologists discover oil under the fields where Sosana, the aged and anachronistic father, raises his herd with his unhappy wife, her friend and his growing boy with whom he displays a wonderful rapport. The land is invaded by big machinery that feels remarkably alien to the serene and natural aesthetic of the valley.

10. Pirosmani

The dedicated artist (Avtandil Varazi) from Russian Georgia struggles for recognition of his work but dies of starvation in 1918.
