Hello everyone,
Today, I made this article in English because it's intended for the admins and all eRev players.
As many of you know, there are 74 countries available at this moment in eRevollution. Yes, 74.
The diversity of countries and the communities that had arisen with them makes travelling truly interesting.
However, there are many reasons that push many players not to change citizenship and participate to other countries’ development.
One of them is the True Patriot Medal system.
When you deal millions of damage for your eHome country and then leave it, you will have to make the same amount of damage for your new country in order to gain the gold of the TPM again.
For a player that makes 200 million for his country, he will have to make 200 million or more. And that represents a shortfall of 185 Golds (If he’d stayed and scored those damages for his original country of course). And for a player that hit more than 1 billion...
One of the best examples is Jimmy86. In his case, he must hit 1.3 billion damage for Japan.
These potential 1.3 billion dmg, if made for a country that gives him still TPM medal, will give him 480 golds. Right now he’ll get 0 golds for these.
For big producers, 185 golds or even 480 golds can be earned with other means even if it is a real shortfall, but for the average player, having their main source of Income disappear because of travelling is a hard blow.
eRevollution is a community game, after all. This is an essential point that the admins shouldn’t occult. Traveling and exchanging with other players from other nationalities, both in game and in RL should be encouraged.
The penalty caused by the TPM reset is discouraging many players that want to travel.
Of course, I’m not saying that, once a player obtains a new CS he’ll have to score only 50 000 DMG for his new country to gain 5G, that would be too easy :D
If someone changes citizenship, it would be great if he had to make the same amount of efforts to get his medal as if he hadn’t changed CS at all.
But on the other hand, in their new country players have a void patriotic history for this country.
But that doesn’t mean they don’t have any patriotic history at all.
What do you think of a system of levels, which doesn’t change regardless of the CS change you do ?
For example, the damage needed to earn another True Patriot Medal could be based on the number of TPM we previously earned.
Or it could be based on the actual entire True Patriot damage we made during the game, so some players will receive many golds at the same time but that is less likely to happen.
This system allows players to change their citizenship without having to endure the TPM reset.
Why being against it?
Will it push the players to fly away from their country more easily? Well, if a player wants to stay, he’ll stay, if a player wants to leave his country, he’ll leave his country. However, with this new update, his choice will not make him suffer a heavy penalty anymore.
___________________________________________________________________
Making such a change in TPM system will : facilitate the players change of eNationality, offer more golds but only to those who travelled, make rapprochements with different people and communities, help middle players. What will the result be ? Some people will win more golds than before but it would be as if they didn’t change CS. On top of that, it will instil a sense of equality among the players (especially for those whose country has been wiped).
So if you agree (or at the contrary, if you contrary) please share your thoughts or arguments in the comment section and vote in this strawpoll to see if the community of eRev really want eTravellers to get less fewer gold.

C est en anglais, j ai rien compris
My life is potato
a kawai potato?
@Aga In english pls (: And president is free to reject citizenship request :p
Yup there is some sort of memory for the TP damage in each country you visit
Bon article mais au pire tu restes dans le pays que tu as choisis des le debut et puis voilà 😁
@tomberet Or you leave the game...
but... but the medal is called True Patriot, how do you call yourself Patriot if you left your own country and fight for others? Even your new home shouldnt consider you a patriot if you hit more for your previous country, thats what patriot mean. And they are dead serious about this because they added TRUE before patriot lol
Si tu veut pas qu on parle français ne publie pas en France
