eRevollution our beloved game, was on the verge of collapse.
Vast majority of players were unhappy with latest updates from administrator. Many were even thinking about quitting the game...
In response to this crisis, representatives from the most significant countries in game gathered on a Discord channel to discuss possible solutions to improve gameplay.
We talked about what we thought was wrong with game and tried to find solutions that would please majority of players.
Goal was to present these solutions to administrator and make him realize that players have a significant weight in game. Without satisfaction of players, the game would die.
After many days of discussion and brainstorming, we managed to get one of our representatives in direct contact with administrator.
Admin has already started making some changes, such as :
.updat strength of the tiers in the Weekly Tournament
.updating price of items in storage,
. allowing the use of cc money to travel.
In addition, other suggestions are being studied to be presented to the administrator.
We also talked about creating new and more balanced alliances to give the game a new life.
This was not an easy topic to deal with, as alliances had not been changed in recent years and many countries did not want to separate.
Almost all countries wanted to side with Romania, and countries like Turkey, Croatia, and Greece didnt want to be on Germany’s side at all.
It is a point of view that we all accept, everyone is free to think and act as they wish.
In the end, Romania took a step forward and, for the good of the game, agreed to be in the same alliance as Germany.
Thus, we already had a principle of alliances :
Greece, Turkey, and Croatia had to be on one side because they did not want to be on Germany’s side.
So, on one side we have Romania-Germany, and on the other side we have Greece-Croatia-Turkey.
Then, other countries were distributed to one side and the other, to form two balanced alliances.
In the end we managed to create the following alliances :
Ger/Rom/Fr/Brazil/Poland
Vs
Gre/Ser/Cro/Turk/Arg/BiH
It is important to note that ALL COUNTRIES gave their consent to the new alliances.
This is an example of how a community of players can come together to save a game they love, showing that the voice of the players is essential for the success and survival of an online game.
