Lately we've been thrown too many curve balls by the ADM group and have been left with our heads spinning left and right.
With or without intent the announcement-retracting-updating-adjusting of so many upcoming changes in the span of 3 days makes us loose track of what is happening.
By now it is common knowledge that after the first update survey no Q5 gyms or additional LK companies will be introduced anymore for the time being.
So now we are left with a last minute update which was slipped under the rug and already is in place.
It looks like we are past the point of deciding weather it will be implemented so like it or not the only question left is IS IT WORTH IT?
We have not been given all the details in regards of the advantages of having this new pack active as the ADM have used the term "new and improved" rewards (I think I've heard that before somewhere else ;) ) to partially define the benefits of the pack.
As in any equation, as long as we have the minimum required information we should be able to determine the value of the unknown value. So the intention is to figure out what needs to be the value of the so called "new and improved" rewards in order for it to be worth buying.
Lets begin with the information we have so far:
-Cost of the pack = 199G
-Benefits:
*-60sec recharge = A
*20% extra rank points = B
*x2 exp points = C
*pport stamp prices (UNKNOWN) = X
So the equation that represents a scenario where we don't loose anything (but don't gain anything either) by buying this pack would look something like this:
199 = A + B + C + X
which would be the same as
X = 199 - A - B - C
Now lets try to give each of benefit a value in gold, so that we can create an equation based on the same units.
-60 sec of recharge time is what we gain by activating a Q5 house. However, a Q5 house give is an additional energy storage capability. So in theory the value of having an extra 60 sec reduced from the energy clock should be worth less than the value of a Q5 house. Still, the possibility of adding this as an extra should be worth something so lets ume we can ess the whole value of 4 Q5 house (to account for the whole month) to this benefit. Therefore:
A= 32 G
In regards to the extra rank points the ADM threw in the word "damage" which can get people confused when they see it next to the work "booster". Again, lets give the ADM the benefit of the doubt and ume they did not do this on purpose to catch us off guard. The reality is that the only thing that is having a boost of 20% is the value of the rank points, which increases our military rank. Now the damage that we do in battle is defined by a formula that depends heavily on the strength/intelligence of each citizen. Aside from the strength the other value that impacts the damage is the firepower of the weapon used which multiplies the damage depending on the type of weapon. The other 2 factor in the damage formula are the rank pints (defined by the rank of the player) and the experience points of the player. These lest 2 however impact the formula very lightly. Even if they were to double the rank points gained the impact on the damage formula would be very small. Therefore, this benefit is very close to having none value as it potentially barely increases our damage and our capability of gaining more gold with TP or TA. I'l let everybody decide its worth but I wouldn't pay 1g for this benefit if they offered it to me as there is close to no gain.
B = 0
C = 0 (using the same approach as for the rank, the exp points affect even less the damage formula and other that that are useless other than to show off)
So finally we can work on figuring out what our "new and improved" rewards value needs to be for a no gain, no lose scenario.
X = 199 - 32 - 0 - 0 = 167G
Well there you have it. Long story short the ADM better make sure that 95% of the benefits of the new pack are included under the pport thing. Otherwise it really makes no sense to buy this pack.
Even from a lone warrior point of view where you just want to increase the damage done daily. The extra 60 sec reduction will grant an extra 740 energy a day granted you are around to hit often throughout the day. In terms of FF, it amounts for an extra 20% damage a day. But usually in order to win important battles its the amount of energy you can use while rushing what counts and this changes nothing from that standpoint.
Considering the star cube has been removed, and that previous free calendar rewards have been now eliminated the new rewards have to be even greater to offset the price and what has been taken away from us.
There you have it. Lets keep our fingers crossed ;)

El nuevo pack de gold que acaban de introducir al juego sin siquiera dejarnos digerirlo, lleva consigo un precio imortante el cual hace necesario un estudio para verificar el beneficio que nos arroja en el caso que querramos comprarlo.
Segun la informacion presentada el costo del pack es de 199 gold. Pero existen algunas pautas en referencia a los beneficios que da el pack que aun no han sido esclarecidas. En concreto se trata de los llamados nuevas y mejoradas recompensas
Para determinar el valor que deben tener esas recompensas para que sea viable comprar el pack crearemos una simple ecuacion donde despejaremos la incognita que estamos buscando.
Para eso asignaremos un valor a cada uno de los beneficios detallados por los administradores.
-Una reduccion de 60 segundos al momento de recargar energia = A
-20% extra de rango al pelear = B
-Doble asignacion de puntos de experiencia al pelear = C
-Nuevas y mejoradas recompensas = X

I like the way you estimate this new pack worth. But I think you made a mistake in the end, on the update list. How exactly does 7 employees equals 21 gold? Assuming the best you can produce are 40 heli q5 and lets say a price of 0.05g each, that is exactly 2 gold for each employee or 14g for all 7 of them.
Oh shit, I was estimating 3g salary for double work. So 7 workers should be 1.5x7 (10.5) which is what you are saving in salary (estimate). Back to the drawing board

Buen análisis! Creo q se debería considerar el salario x empleado según lo q actualmente se ofrece, unos 3.5G el trabajo doble. Al menos es lo q pago yo ahora, algunos leí q ofrecen 4G xD Así q serían unas rupias mas a considerar entre los beneficios del este pack. Sin contar q no está descartado mas empleados como premio

Kromion the gold pack will end up giving people an extra 740 energy a day because of the additional 60 sec recharge time reduction. That s increase of 20% from what we normally can recharge.
