THE Kinyas

For those of you who don't know him yet (shame!), Kinyas is either an all-conquering hero or a megalomaniac emperor depending on where you live in eWorld. He is the 2-time SC of Vae Victis, the dominant alliance in the world, and one that stands out for its degree of centralization and the control the Supreme Commander exercises over ordinary members.

Under his tenure, VV has decimated its rival GAME Inc. and erted itself as the dominant power on earth. At the time of this interview (day 380), Delos had recently formed as a counterweight to VV, and a new world war was in the works.

So how long have you been SC of VV?

Kinyas-
This is my 2nd term as SC of Vae Victis

Diesel-
Nice, what would you say was the most important event of your term so far?

Kinyas-
Well in both of my terms we actually fought against updates that are brought to weaken us by Admins. The first one was adaptation to 6MPP rule. We had to study a lot and get feedback from member countries as much as possible. Mohammad did great job there and we successfully found a solution. The second one was the latest update. Change of bonuses and introduction of naval battles. As preparation we tried to cover up regions that have border with sea and then after update we spent so much time analyzing the new map. As the most important event I can say that we stood together against all those tries to fall us apart.

Diesel-
how would you say Vae Victis's relationship is with the admins at the moment?

Kinyas-
Well it is obvious that Admin team are thinking about ways to weaken us. It is expected though, they aim smaller alliances and more fight all around the world but they do it in wrong way. Updated they brought caused small communities almost dead. Besides, small countries have to spend much more time on FA now since they can get attacked by anyone at any time. They are also trying to support others against us by breaking some rules. Like we recently saw that they change CS manually to support our enemies. Lastly, just because I am approaching from side of Vae Victis, readers should not believe that unfairness is only towards us. I think we deserve more fair game for everyone, with less admin intervention. In the end, there is an admin who have almost same rank as me, that is earned by fighting all against us. I would object this If the situation is other way around as well.

How do you see VV's relationship with Delos, APA, and Aliansa?

Kinyas-
With APA and Aliansa, things we requite complicated. There were allies, neutrals and enemies in both alliances. So we wanted to take our time and actually stay out of South America for time being. As HQ, we wanted our members keep their individual relations with their old friends If they wish. So they did. Aliansa reacted about help of MKD and Georgia to Brazil and start publishing articles to threaten us. At that point we decided to bring more support to Brazil and Romania signed MPP with them. Turkey also organized an operation against Argentina to liberate Brazil. After that it was impossible for Aliansa to win that war and they signed peace anyway. There were many people I respected a lot in there but I doubt that now. About APA, except India they were always hostile towards us so it went like that. About Délos, Hungary, Croatia and Spain are clearly hostile nations towards us so it all depends on France how will our relations with that alliance develop in the future. If they stay neutral as they claim, I expect no problem. However If they push, we will respond properly like we did in Marche.

Diesel-
interesting, so how centralized would you say VV is as an alliance? Do you make most of the decisions or is a lot left up to individual CPs?

Kinyas-
We are working with almost same countries and same people for quite long time now since MDP times. As SC I know sensitivities, wishes and potentials of all countries so I act accordingly. I always take care of interests of all member countries just as they are my homeland. I remember once I negotiated with representative of country we are in war with since 04 am till morning for 4-5 hours, to decrease rent by 20 gold that our member will pay It effect decision making in the alliance. I take minor decisions but if there is a point that will effect whole alliance, we held a summit and ask opinions. Our
meetings are quite famous between members now, if there is a crucial agenda we are debating for 3-4 hours all together. Besides reps and presidents, we always have excellent team that consist of individual experts in specific points like FA, Economy, War and Strategy etc. Even If those people are not officially in HQ, I always ask for their opinion. I still hunt Abe for instance, when I need help in FA

interesting! so who in your opinion are the most important players around the world?

Kinyas-
There are so many players that I cannot list here. I can skip the question by naming BW

Diesel-
Alright awesome, so where do you see the alliance going forward, and how does it link into your role in turkish politics?

Kinyas-
Last month was kinda chaos due to new update but now since we took control of bonus regions, we will be looking for new adventures. For longer term I have few plans to turn our alliance into something more than military alliance. I am currently MoFA in Turkey so any step taken in alliance has link with FA policy of Turkey.

Diesel-
Alright awesome. Are there any plans to expand VV's members in the near future?

Kinyas-
We may accept 1 more member but besides them no, we are not planning to expand. Currently we have around 47% of potential damage according to erevtools, we do not intend to go higher than 50%.
