UEFA EURO 2016, also referred to as Euro 2016, will be the 15th European Football Championship organized by UEFA. France will host the tournament which will be held from June 10 to July 10, 2016France chosen to host the May 28, 2010, after defeating the applications of Italy and Turkey. The matches will be held at 10 stadiums in nine cities: Bordeaux, Villeneuve-D'ascq, Lens, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Paris, Saint-Etienne and Toulouse. This is the third time that France will host the tournament after the first edition in 1960 and the finals since 1984

For the first time in European Championship will involve 24 teams instead of the current 16.
