Alright, I've seen plenty of articles regarding the weekly's event of "Autumn Cleaning" but I haven't found any 'calculations' behind it.
So I decided to make this article trying to keep it as short and clear as possible.
The rules are quite simple, you have 20 boxes and to open each box you need 40 energy. Math 101 says that you need 800 energy to open all boxes.
There are 13 boxes with brooms behind giving you absolutely nothing.
And there are 7 boxes with rewards giving you the following:
30 Weapons Q5
10 RPG Q5
1 Booster Q3
30 Food Q5
30 Tank Q5
30 Helicopter Q5
5 Strengh
Converting (or at least trying to convert) the rewards into gold for market purposes, I believe the rewards would look as following:
30 Weapons Q5 ---------- 0.8 gold
10 RPG Q5 ------------------ no market value (not possible to buy/sell on the market, regular or black)
1 Booster Q3 -------------- no market value (not possible to buy/sell on the market, regular or black)
30 Food Q5 ---------------- 0.2 gold
30 Tank Q5 ------------------ 1.0 gold
30 Helicopter Q5 ---------- 1.8 gold
5 Strengh -------------------- no market value (not possible to buy/sell on the market, regular or black)
TOTAL: 3.8 gold
Now, back to the 'input'...
To get 800 energy, you would need around 0.5 gold.
Now, if I'm not mistaken, for 10 energy you wait around 5.5 minutes. So in order to accumulate 800 energy you would need to wait 440 minutes, that is 7.3 hours.
If you do not want to wait or abstain from the battles, you can always buy energy drink from the game. 10 energy drinks would give you 1,000 energy and you would pay 20 gold for that luxury. Math 101 says that it would be like 16 gold for the 800 energy needed for opening all the boxes.
As you can see, if you want to cool off from the battles you can make some profit (a bit more than 3 gold daily) by waiting a bit more than 7 hours and using the energy for opening the boxes instead of hitting in the battlefield.
Using the energy drinks to save time and continue fighting in battles as usual doesn't seem so profitable (you would lose around 12 gold by doing so) and I do not think anyone will go for that but it is an option.
Here I did not calculate the value of the 'RPGs' (it would be like 6 gold buying from the game because 20 RPGs are 12 gold), the 'Booster' (no idea about it's real value and I can't see you can buy it anywhere, even directly from the game) and the 'Strength' (which would be very difficult to convert into gold or any other in-game value). If you count those things as well, the "profit" (even if it's not marketable) would be even higher than the calculated 3.8 gold. But still not enough to justify the purchase of the energy drink from the game itself.
If I did any mistake in calculations or values, please let me know in the comments below.
Otherwise, if this article helped you in any way, you know what to do... Sub/Vote/Donate.
Thanks and have a wonderful day.

Hey, advertising in the newspaper is not free
stupid event
gold comes and goes, strength on the other hand is limited by time or events. miss your chance to gain the strength and you will never be able to get it back.
Yeah, that all true.
This was mostly focused on the market value, not value in general. Otherwise you could almost say that things like strength are priceless.

Good breakdown for the Gold values. I held off on the last event with 50 Energy per try because it seemed to take too much away from the fights. This time it seems harder to finish the weekly event to win 50 Strength so might not try this one either. It is tempting to get a couple of those prizes.
i love komeng_saja ♥
changed my mind, since I need weapons to finish the XII Challenge, so hope I get lucky.
